La storia segue Izayoi Sakamaki, un ragazzo che ce l'ha col mondo intero. Un giorno, gli viene recapitata una busta chiusa. Una volta apertala, Izayoi viene trasportato in un universo alternativo, per poi scoprire che altri due "ragazzi problematici" sono giunti lì dopo aver ricevuto delle buste: si tratta di Yō Kasukabe, una taciturna ragazza accompagnata da un gatto, e della bella ed altezzosa Asuka Kudō. Una ragazza di nome Kuro Usagi (Black Rabbit) ha convocato i tre, conducendoli nella comunità "No Name", con lo scopo di sconfiggere il re diavolo.
