Si svolge diversi anni dopo Getter Robo Go, la Terra è ora un mondo post-apocalittico. Hayato, ora uno scienziato anziano, ha completato il capolavoro del professor Saotome, Getter Robo Arc. Verrà ad assistere allo spettacolo Bernardo Celli, il talent scout che offrirà ad uno di loro un ingaggio nella sua agenzia Artisti e manager e un contratto per il suo programma comico in prima serata televisiva. Quei 58 minuti prima del debutto saranno l'occasione per confrontarsi sulla reciproca idea di ciò che fa ridere e ciò per cui vale la pena intraprendere il mestiere di comico.
