Succede così a Curch, il gattino di Ellie, e al piccolo Gage, travolto da un camion proprio sulla strada davanti a casa. La prima sequenza dell'incidente col camion è girata piuttosto bene. Il romanzo da cui è desunto il film porta la firma di Stephen King, autore anche della sceneggiatura. Il nome è una garanzia, ma questa volta il risultato è piuttosto deludente.
