Fans love Steve Hackett for keeping the legacy of Genesis' prog rock beginnings alive. With "Genesis Revisited Live: Seconds Out & More" the Englishman and his band once again serve up a musical reissue of the band's material from the seventies.

"Seconds Out" was Genesis' second live album in 1977, the first after the departure of original singer Peter Gabriel. Between the recording of the album in Paris in June 1977 and its release in October, Steve Hackett also announced his departure from the band, leaving Genesis with the later successful trio lineup of Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford.

In September and October 2021, Steve Hackett and his band embarked on their first tour in nearly two years. On this concert tour they played "Seconds Out" in its entirety, plus a few more solo hits and tracks from Steve Hackett's latest studio album "Surrender Of Silence".
