Trama:
Intrappolato in una statua raffigurante un viluppo di corpi sofferenti e volti distorti, Pinhead e la Configurazione del Lamento cercano un modo per liberarsi. Un giorno, il facoltoso Monroe, proprietario del club The Boiler Room di New York, compra la statua. Nel frattempo una giovane e determinata reporter, Joey Summerskill indaga sul capo dei Cenobiti e sulla magica scatola cinese, dopo aver visto i terrificanti effetti su un ragazzo squarciato in due dalle catene fuoriuscite dal cubo.
