Trama:
David, un soldato in congedo, bussa alla porta dei Peterson, la famiglia di un suo commilitone morto in battaglia, del quale dice di essere stato molto amico. Il giovane viene accolto in casa, e si mostra un ospite modello: amichevole e volenteroso, conquista i cuori dei Peterson, ancora segnati dalla recente scomparsa. Una serie di misteriosi omicidi, iniziata proprio col suo arrivo, farà però sorgere dubbi su di lui e su quello che potrebbe nascondere.
