Secoli dopo la partenza dell'Umanità dalla Terra, tutte le forme di vita della Via Lattea si sono evolute verso una completa serenità interiore. Ma c'è stata una mutazione. Un misterioso organismo sta sfrecciando verso la superficie di un pianeta lontano e ricco di risorse conosciuto come Ecosystem 9, in una missione per distruggere tutto quello a cui va incontro.

Grey Goo è un gioco di strategia in tempo reale (RTS) che combina meccaniche di strategia classiche ad un sistema di combattimento bilanciato che pone l'enfasi sulle caratteristiche decisionali su grande scala. Ti mette al centro di una guerra tattica per la sopravvivenza—ed in definitiva per il controllo di Ecosystem 9.
