Trama:
Benjamin Ford (Robert De Niro), un ex militare americano che ha combattuto per molto tempo nella guerra in Bosnia. Dopo essersi ritirato, decide di trasferirsi nel Nord Est degli Stati Uniti, sugli Appalachi, per rimuovere dalla sua mente ogni ricordo legato alla sua esperienza sul campo. La sua vita ora è tranquilla e molto solitaria.
