Trama:
Il film basato sulla fortunata serie televisiva anni novanta con David Hasselhoff e Pamela Anderson (annunciati i due camei) ripropone le corse al ralenti sulla spiaggia, gli iconici salvagenti rossi e i salvataggi a cavallo di moto d'acqua, in salsa comica e demenziale e per la prima volta sul grande schermo. I guardaspiaggia di Baywatch, lontani dall'essere soltanto un trionfo di bikini e pettorali, si spingono dove nessun altro bagnino osa farlo, compiono i salvataggi più estremi, le imprese più eroiche e arrivano a improvvisarsi poliziotti per sventare il complotto criminale che minaccia la baia. Il caposquadra Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson), impegnato ad addestrare le giovani reclute, tra cui il nuotatore medagliato Matt Brody (Zac Efron) e la razionale Summer Quinn (Alexandra Daddario), trascina gli aspiranti bagnini in una lunga serie di folli indagini, che alla fine porteranno a Victoria Leeds (Priyanka Chopra), proprietaria dell'esclusivo Huntley Club, sospettata di usare la sua attività come copertura per traffici di droga e omicidi. Tra nuove gag e omaggi alla serie originale, i Baywatch si preparono al salvataggio più impegnativo della loro carriera.
