Trama:
Dopo il dramma subito da Light, i sospetti che lui sia Kira (nickname sotto il quale si nasconde in rete) sembrano essere ormai decaduti, perlomeno per la polizia. Light e L si sono finalmente conosciuti ma ancora l’investigatore non si fida pienamente di lui. Nel frattempo le morti sono riprese e non sono solo di criminali: viene colpito infatti anche chi cerca di ostacolare Kira. Un nuovo possessore di Death Note e di conseguenza un altro shinigami sono presenti in città.
