La storia ha inizio nel 1972 quando l'umanità scopre un "hypergate" sulla superficie lunare ed entra in contatto con degli esseri provenienti da Marte, da cui, la guerra. 1999: L'impero Bars ha infine dichiarato guerra all'Alleanza Terrestre. Nel corso dei feroci combattimenti l'hypergate è andato fuori controllo causando la devastazione della Luna. Da allora sono trascorsi quindici anni.
