Trama:
Città D'Asfalto, il film diretto da Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire, si svolge sulle strade di New York. Ollie (Tye Sheridan), un giovane paramedico alla sua prima esperienza lavorativa, affianca il suo mentore, il veterano Gene Rutkovsky (Sean Penn), uomo cinico e disilluso.
I due, alla guida dell’ambulanza, girano di notte per le strade della città tra delinquenza, tossicodipendenza e miseria. Ollie è spinto dalla vocazione e dall’entusiasmo della sua giovane età, mentre Gene ha una lunga esperienza sul campo e sa quanto sia difficile affrontare alcune situazioni estreme e dover fare scelte coraggiose.
