[spoiler+=Descrizione]Street Fighter IV ritorna con un mix di personaggi leggendari come Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li e Guile assieme a nuovi personaggi creati apposta per questo gioco come Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte e Rufus.

I personaggi e gli ambienti sono disegnati in 3D, ma il gameplay è quello classico della seria, ovvero si sviluppa in due dimensioni sul piano orizzontale. Come tradizione della serie, gli attacchi vengono portati combinando i movimenti e sei pulsanti.

Non mancano super mosse e combo varie, aumentate rispetto al passato, che rendono il gioco spettacolare per tutti. Le modalità principali sono quelle single player, in cui è possibile seguire una trama diversa per ogni personaggio, e il multiplayer, che consente di prendere parte a match liberi o a match che assegnano punti per la classifica mondiale.[/spoiler+]
