Trama

La storia si svolge nel 2138, all'indomani di una guerra che ha distrutto gran parte dell'umanità ed è risultata nella nascita di una nuova città, Olympus, dove vivono esseri umani, cyborg e bioroidi, ovvero esseri umani privi di emotività. In questo mondo in rovina, i personaggi principali Deunan Knute e Briareos Hechatonchires, membri dell'organizzazione ES.W.A.T., che ha come fine la conservazione dell'umanità, collaborano a mantenere la sicurezza pubblica. La relazione tra Deunan e il suo partner in missione e nella vita privata Briareos, parte uomo, parte cyborg, si complica con l'arrivo di Tereus, un bioroide sperimentale dotato di emotività. Deunan e gli altri membri della squadra saranno costretti a far fronte a diversi attacchi terroristici che coinvolgono la cittadinanza di Olympus, in occasione di un importante conferenza internazionale sulla pace che vede protagoniste tutte le nazioni più potenti del mondo. Le particolari modalità di attuazione e la presenza di uno strano virus che contaggia cyborg ed umani, farà loro capire che dietro al mistero si cela un piano molto perverso e complicato del previsto...
