Lady Tiararose Lapis Clementille si ritrova a vivere all'interno di un otome game a cui aveva giocato nella sua vita precedente. In quel gioco, lei adorava il principe Hartknights Lapis-Lazuli Lactomuth, ma sfortunatamente non si è reincarnata nel ruolo dell'eroina Akari, bensì in quello del suo peggior nemico: la fidanzata malvagia. Alla loro cerimonia del diploma, Hartknights, senza battere ciglio, condanna Tiararose per presunti crimini, scioglie il suo fidanzamento, e proclama l'eroina Akari come sua nuova futura sposa. Senza curarsi del fatto che Tiararose possa essere innocente, il principe la bandisce dal regno. Ma prima che la sua sentenza possa essere eseguita, accade un imprevisto: si presenta a corte Aquasteed Marineforest, il principe di una potente nazione confinante che da tempo nutre dei sentimenti per Tiararose, e annuncia di essere intenzionato a sposarla. Adorata dal principe di un altro regno, cosa attende la malvagia protagonista sul suo cammino verso un lieto fine?
