Nel Granbell Kingdom, un parco divertimenti abbandonato, Shiki ha vissuto tutta la sua vita tra le macchine. Ma un giorno, Rebecca e il suo gatto Happy compaiono davanti ai cancelli del parco. I nuovi arrivati non sanno che questo è il primo contatto umano che Granbell ha avuto in cento anni! Mentre Shiki si fa nuovi amici, i suoi ex vicini si agitano per l'opportunità di una robo-ribellione... E quando la sua vecchia patria diventa troppo pericolosa, Shiki deve raggiungere Rebecca e Happy sulla loro astronave e fuggire nel cosmo sconfinato.

In un laboratorio segreto un soggetto altamente pericolo riesce a liberarsi e fuggire, compiendo durante questa operazione una vera e propria strage. Fortunatamente viene colpito e ferito alla testa, perdendo almeno in parte la memoria. Arriva su una spiaggia e viene soccorsa dal protagonista e una sua amica d'infanzia. Si trovano infatti davanti una ragazza ferita alla testa e nuda, non in grado di parlare e con delle strane protuberanze al posto delle orecchie. Questa "commedia romantica tra fratelli" ruota attorno a Masamune Izumi, un autore di light novel al liceo. La sorella minore di Masamune è Sagiri, una ragazza chiusa in se stessa che non esce dalla sua stanza da un anno intero. Costringe persino suo fratello a prepararle e a portarle i pasti, quando lei calpesta il pavimento.
