Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), nata sul pianeta Kripton, viene spedita sulla Terra assieme a suo cugino Kal-El (poi noto come Superman) dai suoi genitori Alura (Laura Benanti) e Zor-El (Robert Gant). Adottata, accudita e cresciuta per 12 anni dalla famiglia Danvers, mentre lavora come giornalista per la testata giornalistica CatCo, diretta dalla superficiale Cat Grant (Calissa Flockhart ), rivela i propri poteri soprannaturali cercando di salvare da un disastro aereo la sorella acquisita Alex (Chyler Leigh), decidendo allora di trasformarsi in supereroina e proteggere i cittadini di National City. Nonostante le raccomandazioni ricevute, Kara decide poco avvedutamente di rivelare il suo segreto, cosa che la porterà ad affrontare di volta in volta nemici e alieni, sotto le mentite spoglie di esseri umani, sempre più determinati ad eliminarla. Tra questi vi è anche la zia Astra, che vuole conquistare la terra e vendicarsi di Alura, rea di averla fatta imprigionare su Krypton. Kara però, grazie anche al sostegno del suo collega fotografo Will (Jimmy Olsen), della sorella e del capo del Dipartimento di Operazioni Extranormali Hank Henshaw (David Harewood), riuscirà ad ostacolare i suoi tentativi e a frenare i suoi diabolici piani.

In un distante futuro dell'umanità, il duca Leto Atreides accetta la gestione del pericoloso pianeta di Arrakis, anche noto come Dune, l'unica fonte della sostanza più preziosa dell'universo, "la spezia", una droga che allunga la vita, fornisce capacità mentali sovrumane e rende possibili i viaggi nello spazio. Nonostante Leto sappia che l'offerta è parte di una complessa trappola creata dai suoi nemici, decide di partire per Arrakis, portando con sé la sua concubina Bene Gesserit Lady Jessica, il giovane figlio ed erede Paul, e i suoi più fidati consiglieri. Leto prende il controllo di un'operazione di estrazione della spezia, resa pericolosa dalla presenza di enormi vermi delle sabbie. Un amaro tradimento conduce Paul e Jessica dai Fremen, nativi di Arrakis che vivono nel deserto più profondo.

La Fastway, l'azienda di consegne online più potente del mondo, domina il mercato per tutto l'anno tranne a Natale. Per far fallire Babbo Natale, assoldano il capo dei suoi elfi, convincendolo a infiltrare nella sua fabbrica un nuovo manager: Genny Catalano, conosciuto come il "re dei pacchi". In realtà i pacchi in questione non sono i doni natalizi quanto piuttosto i famigerati "pacchi" napoletani. Genny infatti è un volgare truffatore che vive di espedienti coadiuvato da Checco, un piccolo scugnizzo di 8 anni. L'arrivo della coppia al Polo Nord darà vita ad una serie di guai ma alla fine, complice l'improbabile contaminazione reciproca che nasce tra Genny e Babbo Natale e l'inaspettato aiuto della Befana, la magia natalizia riuscirà a trionfare?
