Le vicende di Fate/Apocrypha si sviluppano in un universo alternativo alla serie principale Fate/stay night, dove gli Einzbern non hanno mai evocato Angra Mainyu e come tale non hanno mai corrotto il Santo Graal, modificando le cronache della terza Guerra. Nel corso della terza Guerra del Santo Graal tenutasi durante la seconda guerra mondiale, un mago approfitta del caos per rubare un Graal. Dopo alcuni decenni, la famiglia Yggmillennia, che utilizzava l'artefatto trafugato come suo simbolo, proclama la sua indipendenza dall'Associazione dei Maghi. Furiosa, l'associazione invia le sue forze a combattere la famiglia, ma vengono sconfitte dai servant evocati da quest'ultima. Il sistema della Guerra del Santo Graal subisce così un cambiamento radicale, configurandosi come un confronto tra due squadre di sette servant: inizia la Grande Guerra del Graal.

Al, 36 anni, nato Alberto, un nome comune, un uomo che puoi definire ancora giovane, ma Al non è né comune né giovane. Siamo a Milano, immersi nella lenta agonia economica di una città che, nonostante tutto, è ancora iperattiva anche nella sua negatività fatta di degrado e povertà. Al ha fatto tutto nella sua vita, pugile, esperto di arti marziali, guardia del corpo, buttafuori. Ha anche compromesso con la criminalità organizzata, la clandestinità e ha vissuto le più oscure sfumature dell'illegalità finché non ne è diventato parte. Questo sottosuolo urbano è l'unico posto in cui può ancora essere un grande nome, dove si sente rispettato anche se è perso in un'incessante e progressiva alienazione. La storia di Al ha un altro aspetto, è la storia di un padre che non è stato in grado di essere un padre e ora vuole recuperare il tempo perduto. MMA, uno sport estremo, sarà probabilmente una via di fuga da quel mondo. L'ultima possibilità di Al è la finale del torneo "Milano In The Cage.

Non mancheranno ospiti inattesi come la bellissima e tormentata Martina che farà esplodere la già fibrillante festa. All of the gang leaders from the other schools start to gather at Salt Middle School to confront White T Poison. Also, Ritsu awakens to his dormant psychic powers, and Dimple manages to convince Ritsu to pair with him to become stronger than his brother. Ritsu finally gets to experience those powers for himself. 7: Exaltation ~I've Obtained Loss~

However, there is no way that Ishiguro would let them get away with this. As they try to escape the 7th Division, the upper echelon stands in their way. 11: Master ~Leader~
