Un giorno, quando espresse il desiderio di arrendersi, la sua amica d'infanzia gli disse: "Cry, tu non hai un ruolo specifico, quindi fai il leader." Il gruppo formato da questi mostri di talento (ovvero i suoi amici d’infanzia) prese il nome di Strange Grief ("Il lamento dello spettro") e, in pochi anni, il loro nome riecheggiò in tutta la capitale imperiale. Così, quasi per caso, Cry si ritrovò a essere elevato al rango di leader della squadra più potente. Le aspettative della gente intorno a lui aumentarono vertiginosamente, e ogni sua parola o azione veniva costantemente fraintesa, portando a sviluppi inaspettati. Questa è la storia di Cry Andrich, il leader del gruppo più forte e maestro del clan più potente, piena di gloria e tormento!
