Don's career has been incredible. His contribution has marked the history of hard rock. From his works with Ozzy Osbourne on the first albums, through Michael Schenker Group, three great album with Rainbow (together with Roger Glover and of course Ritchie Blackmore), until playing all keyboards on Whitesnake's smash album "1987", Judas Priest's Painkiller and many albums from Gary Moore, including the hit "Still Got The Blues" for which Airey wrote and arranged all the orchestral parts. This concert has been recorded in Hamburg, during the club tour of his solo album "One Of A Kind", the first released on earMUSIC. The show is a selection of Don's favourite songs from his unique career. A lighter affair than Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane is actually a stranger album than its predecessor, buoyed by bizarre lounge-jazz flourishes from pianist Mick Garson and a handful of winding, vaguely experimental songs. Bowie abandons his futuristic obsessions to concentrate on the detached cool of New York and London hipsters, as on the compressed rockers "Watch That Man," "Cracked Actor," and "The Jean Genie." Bowie follows the hard stuff with the jazzy, dissonant sprawls of "Lady Grinning Soul," "Aladdin Sane," and "Time," all of which manage to be both campy and avant-garde simultaneously, while the sweepingly cinematic "Drive-In Saturday" is a soaring fusion of sci-fi doo wop and melodramatic teenage glam. He lets his paranoia slip through in the clenched rhythms of "Panic in Detroit," as well as on his oddly clueless cover of "Let's Spend the Night Together."     Kreator - Endorama (Ultimate Edition, Remastered 2021) 1999 (2022) 44.1-24 Country: Germany Genre: Thrash Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:43:32 Full Size: 1.25 GB Not content with his Kreator's already-established reputation as perhaps Germany's top thrash metal band of the 1980s, group mastermind Mille Petrozza spent much of the 1990s attempting to reinvent and diversify their sound, most obviously by pushing the industrial metal envelope. Alas, all to no avail, as the majority of fans were not impressed with the mostly mediocre results heard on confused albums like Renewal and Cause for Conflict. Even the welcome addition of guitar ace Tommy Vetterli (ex-Coroner) lent more consistency than actual sparks to 1997's Outcast, and 1999's similarly dependable but hardly impressive Endorama eventually followed suit. Initial highlights such as "Golden Age," the title track, and "Chosen Few" are heavy on mid-paced grooves and gothic atmospherics, but still offer little songwriting redemption. For all their studiously constructed lyrics and supposed compositional maturity, they absolutely scream for some sign, any sign, of deeper emotion to snap them out of their glazed state of performed automation. Not even the keyboards that pervade the highly unorthodox "Passage to Babylon," nor the more energetic riffing contained in "Willing Sprit" can ultimately jolt the album into a higher plane of achievement, but then, Endorama still qualifies among Kreator's most cohesive statements from this under-achieving decade. The debut album, "Little Bang Theory" features 11 contemporary hard rock songs with in-your-face performances and haunting melodies. Brought to the label's attention by producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, Marco Sivo has written songs for albums by Gioeli-Castronovo, Lovekillers feat. Tony Harnell, and Sweet Oblivion feat. Geoff Tate and has also been featured as backing vocalist on all of the Hell In The Club albums released by the Frontiers label and on "Lifeblood" by Secret Sphere. When Perugino talked to Del Vecchio about building a new project around Sivo's voice, it was a natural fit to surround Marco with musicians from his circle of friends: Edo Sala (Sunstorm, Lovekillers), Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere, Edge Of Forever), and Andrea Seveso (Robin McAuley, Jorn). All three deliver the goods, as they always do, on "Little Bang Theory", giving it a depth and identity that goes well beyond a mere studio project. Marco Sivo has been Italy's best kept secret for years. The album features covers of classics that have meant something special to Romero over the years and helped forge this talented singer's musical style. Songs by legendary acts like Survivor, Bad Company, Foreigner, Queen, Led Zeppelin, and more are given Romero's talented vocal treatment here. Joining Romero is a stellar cast of musicians, including Srdjan Brankovic (The Big Deal, Alogia) on guitar, Javi Garcia on bass, Andy C (ex-Lords of Black) on drums, and Alessandro Del Vecchio on keyboards, who also handled production, mixing and mastering. Through Romero's career thus far, he has performed killer renditions of several rock classics as part of his shows fronting legendary acts like Rainbow and the Michael Schenker Group (MSG). Because after all, when you truly love a band, you know those gems buried beneath the surface on their hit albums. Such gems by Queen, Kansas, Elf, Uriah Heep, Bad Company, Foreigner, and more are taken on here with passion and enthusiasm by Ronnie and his backing band of supremely talented players. Romero's voice and prolific musical activity have brought him to the forefront of the hard rock/metal scene where he can be seen/heard with Lords of Black, The Ferrymen, Sunstorm, Rainbow, and the Michael Schenker Group. Three of the songs are written for the soundtrack and included here. Bassist/Composer/Main Songwriter/Producer and all-around band leader Alex Frey has crafted an incredible follow-up that will please all who have followed the band thus far and is sure to recruit new followers. Production-wise, the songs are driven equally by both the guitars of Radivoj Petrovic and keyboardist Denis Kunz. Both of them are all over this album, drenching the songs with melodic melodies. Something else that makes the album stand out are the terrific background vocals, which includes the exceptional Michael Bormann and new(ish) TNT lead singer Baol Bardot Bulsara.
