He produces, records, and engineers out of Osiris Studios. Born Lee Patrick McKinney on April 24, 1989, he grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Lee picked up the guitar at age 10 and knew immediately that music was his passion. To that end, he began practicing up to 6-10 hours a day in effort to become the most he could be at his instrument. Some of his early influences include Randy Rhoads, Eric Johnson, Dimebag Darrell, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Ray Vaughan, Joe Satriani, and more. In 2007 at the age of 17, Born of Osiris was offered a record contract from Sumerian Records. Not only have they performed on stages with Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Bring Me The Horizon, and more, but they also landed four consecutive entries on the Billboard Top 200, including A Higher Place [2009], The Discovery [2011], Tomorrow We Die Alive [2013], and Soul Sphere [2015]. By looking back, the group made a major leap forward. They spent 2017 performing their breakthrough 2007 debut, The New Reign, in its entirety on the road. The tour, which opened with two Sendai performances on May 8th and 9th, was originally scheduled for seven performances until the EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo on June 5th. As a result, "ANTHEM's Holy Land" Club Chitta settled in the beautiful form of the Tour Final, but due to the extension of Osaka Prefecture's State of Emergency Declaration, commercial facilities were suspended until May 31. It is a form that was swayed by the corona disaster until the end, but it can be said that the completion of the tour after overcoming it is a pleasure. Naoto Shibata, Akio Shimizu, Yukio Morikawa, Isamu Tamaru, four active ANTHEM members MAD Ouchi, Tony Maeda, Hidezo Sakamoto were added to this tour at the beginning of the final Ex Thing Therefore, special participation of Homma Daitsugu [ds] in Roppongi was decided, and it was decided to play in Kawasaki. This video work "ANTHEM 35th ANNIVERSARY TOUR" included the two performances of Roppongi and Kawasaki. "Raising Sand" finds Robert Plant and Alison Krauss exploring popular music's elemental roots while still sounding effortlessly, breath-takingly contemporary. "What seems to be an unlikely pairing of former Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss is actually one of the most effortless-sounding duos in modern popular music. The bridge seems to be producer T-Bone Burnett and the band assembled for this outing: drummer Jay Bellerose (who seems to be the session drummer in demand these days), upright bassist Dennis Crouch, guitarists Marc Ribot and Burnett, with Greg Leisz playing steel here and there, and a number of other guest appearances. Krauss, a monster fiddle player, only does so on two songs here. The proceedings are, predictably, very laid-back. Burnett has only known one speed these last ten years, and so the material chosen by the three is mostly very subdued. This doesn't make it boring, despite Burnett's production, which has become utterly predictable since he started working with Gillian Welch. He has a "sound" in the same way Daniel Lanois does: it's edges are all rounded, everything is very warm, and it all sounds artificially dated. Sam Phillips' "Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us" is a centerpiece on this set. It has her fingerprints all over it. This tune, with its forlorn, percussion-heavy tarantella backdrop, might have come from a Tom Waits record were it not so intricately melodic -- and Krauss' gypsy swing fiddle is a gorgeous touch. There is an emptiness at the heart of longing particularly suited to Krauss' woodsy voice, and Plant's harmony vocal is perfect, understated yet ever-present. It's the most organically atmospheric tune on the set -- not in terms of production, but for lyric and compositional content. Stellar."
