Il gioco è ambientato subito dopo gli eventi del precedente episodio, e segue le vicende di Estelle nella sua ricerca all'interno di Liberl, una missione che la porterà a incontrare tanti personaggi ma anche avversari da combattere, quest da completare e svariati minigame.
